to view Polo Ridge Club newslettersCLUB DUES ARE DUE FOR 2025 You may submit your application and payment at any Polo Ridge Club meeting. You may also send the form and a check, made out to "Polo Ridge Club", to Bruce Toline (402-510-8087), 3158 Gooding Place, The Villages, FL, 32162. If you stop by Bruce's house with the form and payment, ring the doorbell to give Bruce the form and money/check. You can also contact Bruce via email at bruce.toline@gmail.com. You may also recommend a non-Polo Ridge resident friend as a social member. To do that contact an officer or see by-laws for details. Polo Ridge Club dues for the year (January 1 thru December 31st) are $10.00 for a renewal; a new membership is $18.00, which includes a one-time charge for a name badge ($8.00).
The Village of Polo Ridge Caring Neighbors (PRCN)
PRCN is a group of volunteers who have been background checked and are ready to assist Polo Ridge residents with such things as:
Transportation, Shopping from a list, Errands, Respite Care, Short-term Meals, etc.
To request this free service call our Service Coordinator at 352-673-0369
For more information about the pro-gram or to volunteer, come to a meeting at Laurel Manor on the 2nd Wednesday at 12:00.
Meetings and Events Schedule
All meetings (unless otherwise specified) will be held on the fourth Tuesday of the month at the Laurel Manor Recreation Center. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and the meeting will start at 6:15 p.m.
June 24 At our June 24th Polo Ridge meeting we will be amazingly entertained by Mike Plama. Mike has been a performing Ventriloquist and Comedy Magician for over 25 years in Comedy Clubs, Casinos, and Theaters across the country. His funny and fast paced shows come alive with his unique characters and side-splitting comedy magic. You will be amazed and go home guessing how he did it.
July 22 At the July meeting the Polo Ridge Club will hold a Dinner and GOLF CART POKER RUN. We have not had one for years and it’s a lot of fun and a chance to WIN Money. Anyone can win. The game involves you in your golf cart starting at Loral Manor at 4:30pm then driving to six undisclosed locations (using clues) in the Villages, to receive a card (one per location) to make up your poker hand. You then return to Laurel Manor for dinner (at 6:00pm) and prizes based on the best hands. The cost to play is $5.00 per member.
12 Volunteers are needed to man the card pickup tables at the six locations. Volunteers also play for best hands.
Sign-ups will be at the May and June monthly meetings. You must register so we can order the food!
